Apono allows administrators to apply various settings to enhance the security of Access Flows.
Admin settings offer several advantages:
Organize Access Flows for efficient use and discovery
Require justification for access requests
Prevent self-approval when a requester is also part of the approval process
All admin settings are optional.
Follow these steps to apply admin settings:
On the Create Access Flows page, click Settings. The Settings panel opens.
Enable one or more admin settings.\
Access flow labels
Identifies access flows for streamlined organization and use Labels appear in the access flow tiles on the Access Flows page. Follow this step to attach one or more labels:
Under Access flow labels, enter one or more labels into the textbox or select an existing label.
Require justification
Requires grantees to enter a justification for their request in the Apono User Portal Follow this step to enable the setting:
Toggle Require justification to ON.
Require Approve Reason
Requires approvers to use a maximum of 124 characters to explain the reason for approving or rejecting a request
If disabled, leaving a reason is optional for approvers.
Follow this step to apply the setting:
Toggle Requester Approve Reason to ON.
Requester cannot approve their own request
Prevents users from approving their own access requests If the user is a member of an approval group, they will not receive a notification to approve the request. Follow this step to apply the setting:
Toggle Requester cannot approve their own request to ON.
Click the X to close the panel.
For an existing access flow, click Save Access Flow. Otherwise, continue creating the new self serve or automatic access flow.
