Kubernetes Secret Association

Before associating a Kubernetes secret, follow the steps for Creating Secrets in Kubernetes.

During the process of setting up a Kubernetes integration, you will be prompted to enter the secret information associated with the Kubernetes instance and cloud services.

The secret allows Apono to sync and provision access to cloud resources without needing to store credentials for the Kubernetes environment.

Add the secret

Since secrets are based upon instance-specific credentials, choosing an incorrect secret will cause the integration to fail.

Follow these steps to add the secret to an integration:

1. Under Secret Store, click on the KUBERNETES tab.
2. Enter the Namespace for the secret.
3. In the Name field, enter the name of the secret.
